Smart, retro DAB Radio - Great sound!
Bought as a present, it was very well received! For us its main purpose is a Radio/Alarm, a function which it fulfills well, with its 2 separate alarms - we use one for weekday, one for weekend, with each assigned its own specific wave-band/station/volume. This device does allow Bluetooth pairing to stream from smartphones/tablets, etc. and this is the full extent of its connectivity - we do not requre web radio. This Radio come complete with a chunky remote control which works well, but we do not bother using - possibly you would if sited in a kitchen or living-room. DAB and FM reception are great for us - The clarity of the sound allows us to run this radio at lower volumes than our previous Sony device - news bulletins are very clear and easy to listen to. The one and only gripe is with ... Bought as a present, it was very well received! The one and only gripe is with the snooze function (and I assume it is part of its software programming), enacted by touching the metal speaker grille (which is OK enough), does not react unless you do it within 30 seconds or so after the initial alarm call, after which it refuses to snooze..... With old analogue clock radios you can normally wake to a station, listen to the news and then hit snooze - not so with this one.... Very nice that this product is designed in Scotland, but a real shame it has to be manufactured overseas in China (like lots of other well known products). In summary, we do really love this radio, it looks, feels and sounds like the quality device it is - would definitely buy this device or another one from Revo's range again!

Excellent Ruark replacement
Purchased after my Ruark R1 (Mk 1) bit the dust and with some latent unhappiness about the performance of my R2. Very pleased with all aspects of the radio. Excellent sound, easy to use and beautifully made. I think the RC is a little over the top for what is a bedside radio but that's my only criticism.
