    Jesus

    This is by far my all time favorite Jesus movie ~ The acting is incredible, it's a timeless story of the life of Christ, shown in a way I have never seen before. It shows the raw emotions of Jesus, the fear, sadness, joy, the temptation of Satan and even laughter! This is my 3rd copy, I bought this one for my daughter who recently moved out and wanted her own copy! I recommend this movie to people all the time, just fantastic!

    A beautiful acted, directed and well filmed story o Jesus I have seen. Beats the major mega casts of this story. Now recognizable stars play the leads, many to go on to stardom. Really a must see movie.

    Terrific Jesus movie......

    I loved this Jesus movie because it portrayed Jesus' human side a bit more. It brought you even closer to Him. The actors did a wonderful job playing their parts very authentically. This is probably one of my favorite!!

    Staying truee to the bible

    I wish every movie about any bible character would stick to the true accounts as written in the bible. People are relying on producers, director's to get it right. I personally get upset when things are added then taken away. Important information like all the events that took place at the crucifixion. I would urge people to first read from the bible, then watch the movie....or vice versa. But that's just me. Love to all.

    Beautiful and touching. My family and I love it!

    This is a very different portrayal of Jesus, which not everyone will appreciate. While Jesus is traditionally portrayed with great reverence, I felt Jeremy Sisto's performance was warmer and more approachable. He shows us a Jesus that is very human, yet kind and forgiving, and very emotional. I believe that Jesus must have been this charismatic to attract followers who were not exactly society's most upstanding citizens. His gentleness and innocence make his crucifixion even more horrifying. Though this movie does take some liberties with the facts, I felt each actor gave a stellar performance.
