It is in good condition with some evidence of previous use (very minor paint wear to front grille, which could be touched up, and a bit of dust in places). It does have those little stickers that the BBC handed out in the 1970s (or was it the 1980s) when they changed a number of frequencies. These stickers are virtually impossible to remove and I haven’t attempted to do so (BBC should have patented the glue that they used because it is the strongest glue known to mankind!). It will NOT be supplied with batteries because of postage regulations (it uses 8x D cell batteries). Because D-cell batteries are expensive it may be better to operate from the mains and I include a non-original (slightly clunky) external mains power supply (shown in photos).”
