Husqvarna chainsaw filing kit review
This is a simple and efficient tool for sharpening a chainsaw chain . It is easy to set up and the rollers keep the file in the correct position for sharpening . My only concern would be for the durability of the rollers as even after the first use they appeared to show quite a bit of wear , but time will be the judge of this . The guide for filing the rakers is sufficient but a bit fiddly for work in the field in my opinion . Nicely designed, effective and good quality
Having the right sharpener is key to easy chainsawing. I'd upgraded from Stihl Chainsaws to a Husqvarna but was still using Stihl sharpeners. The Husqvarna sharpener is better designed, easier to use, and more effective, important to get the right set to match the exact size of your chain, of course !
