Childrens Favourite DVD 2003
Its a good mix of programmes that your child is likely to have seen on TV. The ability to choose all episodes or go straight to your child's favourite one is helpful too. There are some episodes which I as a parent have not heard of but having watched them initially I was happy to let my 3 year old view them. I liked the varied display of programmes too. You could be watcthing an old style cartoon such as Angelina Ballerina and then go to Bob the Builder and then to Barney, in real footage as opposed to cartoons. It was also nice to see that some shows taught something, such as Barney, and others were just enjoyable and entertaining for the children. All in all, it was a pleasure to have a DVD that gave a mixture of experiences and styles for children, as well as alternative viewing for ... We had bought a portable dvd for long car journeys, as motorway hell was making trips away an endurance rather than a pleasure. I then realised that we also needed some dvds to go in it that would keep the kids entertained but that would also be easy to interrupt for those all important loo breaks. This happy mixture of children's tv programmes is ideal for this use:- it is lots of different programmes, so they do not get bored of seeing one character or bored of seeing the same story again, and it is easy to stop at the end of a programme (they are all quite short!). For that kind of use I would thoroughly recommend any of the Children's Favourites dvds. This version has a continuous play mode, so it just keeps running from Barney to Brambley Hedge, which is also useful for car ... I am looking for others to add to my collection now!

WELL WORTH PURCHASING TO EDUCATE YOUR CHILD,WHILST HAVING FUN.
Very Entertaining but Educational at the same time "very clever" My 4 year old has judged it Exellent,he sings along with all the songs and gets involved with all the Learning games! So he is not just in front of the TV watching cartoons,he is watching well thought programmes and learning.

Great dvd for kids, colourful and entertaining, kept my little ones amused and when it ended wanted to watch it again and again,good way to keep them amused for an hour or two.
