    Nice shaver socket, like the toothbrush logo!

    I really like these shaver sockets, as I think they're very well made. I particularly like the fact that this particular version has got a toothbrush logo on the front as well as the shaver logo. Not everyone realises you can run quite a few low-current devices on these sockets, apart from shavers & toothbrushes- for example, I plug my radio in & it works fine! These sockets can either be wired into the 5-Amp lighting circuit, or via a 5-Amp fused spur from the ring main. The only thing I think is missing is a power switch on the front of the unit, as the internal transformer remains powered up as long as something is plugged in, even if the device is switched off. So the unit draws power & gets warm all the time something is plugged in.

    Toothbrush Charger & Shaver Socket

    This socket charges toothbrushes as well as running shavers, there are others, not of this quality. We have three now, no buzzing or secondary noises.
