State of Decay is an open-world zombie apocalypse RPG that aims to make the fight for survival as realistic as possible. Players are free to roam devastated landscapes, rescuing fellow survivors, forming groups, and building and upgrading strongholds wherever they please, but survival also entails scavenging for food, weapons, and medicine. Guns and vehicles degrade with use, so gamers must always be on the lookout for new ways to travel and defend themselves from State of Decay's zombies, which are as fast as humans, attracted to loud noises, and especially dangerous in packs.<br><br>Player characters have upgradeable skills like Cardio, Wits, Fighting, and Shooting, but any member of a group can be killed, get ill, or turn into a zombie, and death in State of Decay is permanent. The game uses influence as something of an in-game currency, with players earning influence for completing missions, setting up outposts, upgrading their base, and storing weapons and items in a storage locker. But taking weapons out of the locker to fight zombies removes their influence points, so gamers risk losing group members if they pack their entire arsenal and go zombie hunting.<br><br>The Year-One Survival Edition features the add-ons Breakdown and Lifeline, as well as improved lighting, textures, animations, and combat mechanics.<br><br><!--One-->

    It's the original that was on the 360 made for the Xbox one

    Where do I start undead labs was the one who made this and either though it is fun and lots to unlock specially the monthly challenges that you can unlock for special achievements and other content the game since more or less the same as the original state of decay that's on the 360 it's just adds what should had been made into it already by getting the dlc but didn't as for the game it's self it has the same bugs that the 360 has undead might make some good games but they suck as a game company when it come to creating more content or fixing what should be fixed kind of like a fee game company's such as Bethesda and the fun pimps who made 7 days to die

    This is a great game!

    Very fun and challenging! Just picked this up and can't put it down! A fan of TWD? This game is for you. A few small issues mostly frame rate drops here and there but nothing that ruins the game. Played about 12 hours in 3 days and I still haven't even scratched the surface of the game. This is what every survival game needs to be like!
