    Great motherboard for a media or basic desktop PC and cheap.

    This is a small Micro ITX motherboard with HDMI Digital and VGA graphics connectors. I fitted a Intel Core i3 4150 T CPU low power (25 Watt)CPU and it makes a perfect base for media PC. The Intel HD sound is very good with no obvious background noise or hiss even with my 75 watt per channel amplifier turned right up. The Intel 4400 graphics on the CPU means you do not need a graphics card for most media applications - 6.6 for 3D and gaming performance even with 1333MHz memory. I fitted a WD5000LPLX 2.5" disk which is fast (SATA 6 Gb/s)and quiet and low power as it is really a laptop drive. I would not fit an SSD as my last one was problematic as a boot disk with Windows 7. The boot sector was not always found and the system would take a number of attempts to boot correctly. Not a common ...
