Progressive Monotubes #25-3100
Progressive Monotubes are the way to go. This is the second set I have purchased, first set went in my 07 Harley Sportster (Different Part Number of Course) that is when I fell in love with them. So much easier than rebuilding the factory forks and you never have to mess with them again. This set is for my 2010 Harley Road King so far the love continues to grow. Before I put these in, the front end was very spongey and nose dove every time I hit the front break. So bad it was unsafe same with the Sportster. After installing these it was like the Cadillac of motorcycles. I felt much safer and the ride was sooooo much better. Highly recommend them to any one that needs their forks rebuilt. I did the installation myself and probably took longer than having a shop or dealer do them. I just took my time and followed the directions (Also recommended) Don't try to find an easier way there really isn't one. I got prices to install them by one dealer and two shops and all were really close in the price. (About $450) That's when I decided to do them myself. Don't be scared it's only nuts and bolts. Much Better Handling and Ride
These cartridges are installed on my '09 H-D Road King (FLHR). I previously installed a set of Progressive Suspension 940"s on the rear. The ride and handling got a lot better with the rear shock upgrade. With the front cartridges installed the ride, handling and braking are MUCH better than the stock H-D suspension ever was. an investment that is worth it.
Holy! best update i ever made to my 2008 RK classic and i made a tone. My front end always felt somewhat unstable while cornering slow or fast. with the new Progressive shocks, this is completely gone. slow speed turning happens in full control without having the feeling the front wheel slips away any second. the bike literally rides like on rails. I had a professional mechanic do the install as i got chrome lowers at the same time and given that this involves oil and torque specs and stuff, i wanted to make sure it is done right. The front end comes up approximately 2" with the new shocks but that does not impact the rear so your ground clearance does not change. i might get a windshield that is 3 inches lower ... 21" now and i think i go for an 18". i recommend this update, it changed my whole riding experience to the better. should have done that when i got the bike lolVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great upgrade
Changed out my stock air ride on my 2001 Ultra Classic with the progressive monotube fork kit. What a difference. Handles so much better, tighter in the turns, almost eliminates the front fork dip when the brakes are applied. Would highly recommend these if looking to upgrade. Feels like a fresh stock suspension
My '09 Harley front end was rebuilt with used forks of dubious history. Never liked the ride with little dampening and bottoming out on larger bumps. Played with the amount and weight of fork oil but no improvement. This kit cured that of course. All the stock internals are replaced with this sealed shock absorber and new spring. Lots of work getting the forks off the bike but the kit goes in easy with close attention to the instructions. Feels like a fresh stock suspension now. Only a small amount of fork oil is required for lubrication so no regular fork oil change hassle going forward. Recently done so cannot comment on the long term results so reserving "Exellent" rating for now. Would buy again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great improvement to 2011 Ultra Classic
The mono tubes are a great improvement over the stock front suspension on my 2011 Electra Glide. The front end is firmer and more supple over bumps. Quick and easy to install.
