Seller made me a counteroffer, and I accepted. I went to go pay, and received a notification saying the transaction was canceled. I messaged the seller, and they said there was a "defect". When asked for more details, they said the price was listed as it was because they were looking at "prices for 7's and 8's" on accident. Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you can just cancel an order, That's not how eBay works. Sellers mis-mark and lose money on eBay every day. That's how it works.

I canceled and apologized right away after the offer was accepted. The listing was made incorrectly with a wrong price for a wrong item. It was then canceled immediately. This person kept harassing me for the sale, and said will get "ebay involved". Grow up kid.

Firstly, kid? I'm middle-aged, my friend. Secondly, let's not sugarcoat how you handled it. Seller canceled it under "out of stock", which is clearly wasn't. This is a violation of ebay policies. Seller then offered to sell it to me for $25+ over the initial sale. I declined, told them I'd inform ebay of their violation, and seller went silent. I made one final attempt before I went through with the report, and was called "an absolute joke".. Seller messed up, but just won't own up to it.
