Good (extra) Satin Finish as below....
Have combined 2/3 Galaria Satin Varnish with 1/3 Gloss Galeria Varnish (in a separate former empty Bottle) and use it with 2 Coats to find an really fine Varnish effect for our 1/32 Napoleonic (Plasic) Figures. A day between Varnishes. Very pleased Gives that old Timpo Toy look to our Collection-if just a little shinier-which we like-but not glaringly Gloss. The sheer Gloss effect without any varnish is superb for the old Lead or modern Metal Figures. Always give an flat matt base Coat first before any serious Painting for best effects though! Excellent Product
Top quality, as expected, from Winsor and Newton. My acrylic paintings on wood are now sealed without smudging or smearing, plus the finish is subtle with a satin effect which suits me better than a very shiny gloss. Thank goodness this is one of those products you can completely rely on to do its job - plus it arrived really quickly too!
