Great item, exactly as described. The packaging was very poor but item arrived undamaged. Communications and dispatch time were also poor but overall a successful transaction.

Pros - polite communication, low prices, generous discount offered for damaged book. Cons - very slow communication which tends to be generic and promises much but delivers little, heavy book was sent in a jiffy bag and arrived damaged, had to get Ebay involved to action the promised partial refund. Summary - 'pile it high and sell it cheap' organisation which is unable to provide efficient customer service and makes the mistake of not packaging books correctly. Will not buy from them again.

Definitely worth the money. Learned a lot about Sketchup, even though I've used it for a while.

  • SketchUp the missing manual - Clearing the Mist

I bought this book as a present for my brother. He has been struggling with SketchUp for a while and has tried watching videos on youtube to help him. He found it difficult to see what was happening on screen so needed a comprehensive guide. He tells me that he is already well on his way through the tutorials section and is finding the book to be well written and easy to follow. He likes the style of the writing, says that is both amusing and informative. He has done an Autocad course and says that with the help of this manual he is finding that there is very little that he cannot do with SketchUp that was possible with Autocad.Added to this the fact that Sketchup is a free download with the upgraded version only costing a few hundred dollars he reckons the whole package is a bargain.
