Ever since it made a big impact on audiences, horror fans, and various box offices with "House on Haunted Hill" in 1999, Dark Castle Entertainment became the production company version of William Castle, originally remaking William Castle films and making original horror films. In "Ghost Ship", which is mostly well-known for its opening scene, a group of salvagers are on their way back home after six months at sea. That all changes when a pilot tells them of a ship he found floating out in the ocean. Upon discovering it, the group of salvagers find it seemingly abandoned and make plans to tow it back to land for a quick payday. However, little do they know that the ship is actually far from abandoned and the passengers and crew onboard are about to make their presences known to them. Can it get predictable at times? Yes. Do you know who will live or die? Possibly. But does this make it any less fun? No. Best to have an open mind before you start watching it.Read full review
