Faultless quality product providing a nostalgic tongue-in-cheek escapist delight into the might have been world of mythology where the warrior princess triumphs with those inescable curves and zany humour. For such a beautiful woman to send herself up so is great fun, sometimes embarassingly so. Bitter Suite - once divorced from the series expectations per se, is quite the creditable opera with notable perforamnces by all. The voice of Lucy Lawless reverberates sweetly and soulfully all the way down your spine, and the other actors - especially the late great Kevin Smith (Aries) - are surprisingly talented singers as well. xena is absolutely the fittest bird to walk this earth as well as some not so badkickass moves it allso had a long run of 130 odd cepisodes and i got in to it years ago
