    Compelling read, still relevant in 2008

    This particular book by Wayne LaPierre is still a good read, still interesting, still relevant, nearly 15 years after he wrote it. It is definitely worth reading if you have never read it, and worth owning as well. The arguments, and predictions, made in this book in favor or Americans' right to own firearms and defend themselves still ring true today. Although you would expect a book written by the executive Vice President of the National Rifle Association to be a bit biased, he goes to great lengths to explain and debunk the "gun control" folks' viewpoints. To paraphrase a famous quote "It is wise to know the ways of one's adversary". Whether you are for or against gun control, this is an informative asnd interesting book.

    Guns, Crime and Freedom

    Honest information about gun control and the political lies that government uses to try and ban guns and personal freedom. Has many references that back up the facts brought forth in the book. Explains how the government is trying to take away personal freedom from all persons and put all power in the hands of the government.
