The seller requested my personal phone number and email address in a private message on eBay. eBay rules prohibit such actions. I refused because after purchasing the item, eBay provides all the necessary information to the seller (name, address of the buyer). The seller returned my money. I did not receive the purchased item.

Temporarily housebound I have to use Royal Mail Collection service. My item description always explains Royal Mail will not collect/deliver an item without a recipient's email address and telephone number. This is the only buyer who has refused to send these items & so I had no alternative but to refund his money which I did within a few hours of the purchase being made. I advised him to check R M's collection service website if he disputed this. This buyer wants to get his facts right.
