I had the older version mouse before (M570)l, which I must say is amazing and battery life is amazing too. This one, I can change between computers easily and that's what sold it to me It is expensive, but the m570 still works even after 10 years and has been dropped lots of times, and the ball was getting slightly stiff after that time.... This one is great quality and I am happy with my purchase. this ergo, and the m570 are really comfortable on the wrist There is nothing out there like this

These trackball mouse are really good for comfort. Much better than using a regular mouse. Once you start using trackball you won't want to use a regular mouse. The trackball is just so much more quicker and comfortable. That's the upside. The downside is that the click buttons often develop double clicks. I've had several brands of trackball and had to replace them because of double click. If you can live with having to frequently replace the trackball then your good. I've used trackball for over a decade and can't go back to a regular mouse. So I'm ok with having to replace them.

The Logitech MX Ergo is a fantastic mouse! It's incredibly comfortable to use and feels great to rest my palm on when in use. Once you've set up some shortcuts for the keys then it really does help make your workflow easier. I set keys for video-call and mute when using Teams and zooming in and out when using Photoshop, so the cross-platform functionality is amazing! If you are looking for a sign to get this mouse, here it is!

Comfortable for long periods of use with easy adjustment using removable magnetic base plate at 0 to 20 degrees angle. DO NOT loose the base plate or the mouse becomes almost unstable and difficult to use on a surface. Easy to switch between laptop and DVR, very useful that unifying dongle works in DVR. The enhanced movement button for slow sensitive controlled cursor is good feature. Had a Logitech wired trackball which gave up after 15 years use and now this Ergo MX appears to be a contender for longevity, time will tell. Only gripe is the left and right buttons either side of the wheel are flush and can loose position on the right button occasionally. The old wired trackball had slight grooves so the fingers rested comfortable in each button but that's not a deal breaker. Overall excellent tool. 3-7-2019 3 years later and still working. 1st fault has occurred, the plastic non-slip cover on the bottom of the removable/adjustable base plate has peeled off. A can of spray glue has been bought to fix it back on and it is now drying. It will be interesting to see if this repair works and the plastic cover stays on.Read full review

This MX Ergo feels much better quality than the M570 (+ no issues so far with middle click which I had on the M570). Did not realise how much difference the tilt feature would make, I really prefer the extra angle on this one especially when using on the edge of the sofa it feels more sturdy. Love that I can just connect to my laptop with bluetooth as I have a habit of losing the little dongle on my old one. Trackball itself feels nice to use. Software to use across multiple PCs is cool, as is the precision mode button if you want to use Photoshop or something. Not used long enough to comment on battery life but I've heard it's good.
