Really fun classic game. Holds the test of time as far as storylines. Plus, it has still the best light saber controls and dueling of any game out currently.

Arrived quickly in original case. Disc was dirty and scratched. After I cleaned it, the game played without any interruptions. Very fun story with great FPS combat and 3rd person lightsaber combat. Would recommend to any StarWars fan.

One of the reasons that I love this game is due to the analogue control of the light saber. It makes for a very natural feel while attacking others. Nothing is more fun than being able to run past someone while holding your light saber out to kill them. The multiplayer section of the game is loads of fun to chase each other around with force jump and other force powers. I've had hours of good game time competing or collaborating with friends on the many multiplayer maps. The unlockable characters make for an added bonus to completing levels and the game itself. By the end, there are a ton of players you can choose in multiplayer maps (not to mention quite a few unlocked multiplayer maps). The open ended leveling system is pretty good. It allows you to choose dark side and light side powers. Force Grip is fun to drop people off ledges while Force Push can be utilized to push enemies into corners and hack and slash them to death. The only reasons that I didn't grade this game as excellent are the last gen graphics (that can't really be helped but still weighs in my rating) and slight improvements that I would make on interface and leveling.Read full review
Set the way back machine to when Star Wars Jedi Outcast was a relatively new release and I was still somewhat of a PC gamer before I knew I was a gamer period and you'll find me begging my mom for a Star Wars game. This is ultimately the game that ensued and now let's fast forward to the present day when I started collecting games I played when I was younger. Being now a devoted console gamer I picked up a Gamecube copy and sat down to take a spin down memory lane. The game is about what I remember. You start out as a former Jedi agent for the now no-longer-rebel, post Return of the Jedi government. You start out first person shooting for the first few levels until you face a Sith lizard and realize you're going to have to dust off your old light saber. After that you can switch between first person shooting and third person light saber wielding and force pushing. The controls are functional but start to clash when you have to switch between first and third person views and this game is far less polished than what many games nowadays boast. Just as a side note this game is running off an early unreal engine for those that know what it is. This is one game that any Star Wars fan will probably like. For the rest it is adequate but in all honesty you can probably take it or leave it.Read full review
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, is the third installment of the Jedi Knight series. Following the events of Dark Forces II, Kyle Katarn, who has now cast aside the force, is running mercenary missions for the growing New Republic. After a stunning turn of events, Katarn has to once again call upon the force, and wield his lightsaber once more. This game come highly recommended by me! Its gets and A++++++++!! Jedi Outcast is the best game ever released. Its the legacy of the Jedi Knight series, and a must have for ANY video game collection.
My son is a video game enthusiast as well as a Star Wars fan. I have purchased many games for him on ebay and this seems to be the best game yet. Though it was released years ago and is hard to get, In his words it was the best Star Wars game he has seen yet. The game is for a more developed gamer and a skill level is required. We recommend it!
Just the thought of being able to use a lightsaber/ all the blasters/ the force and all the grenades, det packs you can find and being a one man army! Brings such awesome childhood memories back. Thank you my friend
