One for the kids!!!!
Thomas and the other engines are helping to build a new Airport. However, the steam engines and the diesel engines just can't get on!. A trick from Thomas backfires and puts the Island of Sodor in trouble. Following a troublesome storm, Thomas has a dream about Lady telling him that working with diesels will be alright. Shortly after, Diesel 10 is brought to help, but can the steam engines and diesels work together in harmony?Thomas and the other engines are helping to build a new Airport. However, the steam engines and the diesel engines just can't get on!. A trick from Thomas backfires and puts the Island of Sodor in trouble. Thomas And Friends - Calling All Engines (DVD)
Why did I buy, because my 2 year old son is made about Thomas (and trains in general).I bought this title because I saw it advertised on one of his other DVD's. Why did I buy from this vendor, I had a look around at various sourses and saw the prices, including those on ebay but this vendor was by far the best priced, I would gladly buy from them in the future.

Thomas and Friends - Calling All Engines (DVD)
I was pleasantly surprised by this film which rather than merely rolling gaily across the screen for an hour seeks not just to entertain but to engage its young audience interactively. The cheery storyline is simple enough yet the makers of the film did an excellent job not just with the look of the models which exude all the naive charm of the illustrations contained within the Rev.W. Awdry's original books but also with the way in which they took time to add some basic educational elements to the film.Thus a child gets to understand a little of how steam engines work,how they are different from diesel engines and the importance and nature of railway work in general....and why bananas are no good for building.I was pleasantly surprised by this film which rather than merely rolling gaily across the screen for an hour seeks not just to entertain but to engage its young audience interactively.
