  • why I bought it

I wanted info on the Coastal Command as my father was once an LAC in this RAF section......the quality of the film was probably the result of using old footage from newsreels ....but it did tell me the info I wanted to know so I am not unsatisfied

  • Coastal Command Video.

As one of the last persons to be trained as Rigger - Flying Boats, I found this video particularly interesting. It brought back great memories of my time at Pembroke Dock and Seletar in Singapore. A great video for anyone interested in classic aircraft and the role of Coastal Command during WW11.

  • RAF - Coastal Command (DVD 2004)

Although good, the watching time was short, the subject matter was good, but Coastal command had more aircraft and covered a larger area than shown on film. Perhaps the Title could be changed to reflect this? (part 1 UK) Notwithstanding what there was was good and enjoyable, but did not display the whole range of Coastal connand.

  • DVD for uncle

I bought this DVD as an interesting item for my uncle who, as a boy, lost his brother in the Coastal Command during WW2. My uncle is now very poorly and it was to help him find out more about the life of a brother he hardly knew.

  • RAF - Coastal Command (DVD 2004)

This is a highly informative, concise account of the activities and development of Coastal Command during WWII. It gives an overview of their finest hours, and of the many other people involved in developing and maintaining technologies to boost their efficiency and worth. A highly recommended introduction to this aspect of aerial warfare.
