    I found it more appealing when there was nothing like it on TV

    I haven't seen this series for well over 20 years. I've discovered it's not as funny as I once thought & I couldn't keep my eyes open for a single episode! I can sit up til 1, 2, 3am watching other stuff, "Bilko", 'South Park' for example, but this series is hard work.... I think the 2nd series is funnier. Not dozing off during that, so far...

    I was watching this DVD and on one of the episodes the DVD stopped and cut off ,it would not play the last half of episode bombs but did play the rest of the episodes on the DVD just struggled with that one which is a let down as one of the best episodes
