    Stephen Fry at his best.

    Stephen Fry is at his best. Entertaining as ever and as a viewer it is a joy to see him having such fun talking about a subject that is important to him. He really brings Richard Wagner to life and gives you an insight as to the character of the man.

    great film about Richard Wagner being a great musician and anti-Semite

    Being a Richard Wagner fan, I saw this film in the cinema and wanted to see it again at home. It is a very personal approach to the person and the music of Richard Wagner. Stephen Fry, a jewish Wagner fan, asks himself if it is allowed to love the music of a person who definitely is an anti-Semite and his family being Hitler fans even before he was elected. This is a question many Wagner lovers are asking themselves and Fry helps to find an answer. Very sensitive and enthusiastic film.
