The Victim
This film is great. It has a lot of very funny moments and a lot of great Kung Fu. I loved watching it with the dubbed English, but the original Cantonese language with subtitles is there too. Originally made in 1980 and very rarely seen until this release on DVD in 2000, it is a much overlooked classic. Sammo Hung does a great job of starring in and also directing what is one of my top ten favourite Kung Fu films ever! I cannot recommend it enough for all Kung Fu lovers out there and will be great in any collection.This film is great. It has a lot of very funny moments and a lot of great Kung Fu. From start to finish this film delivers where it counts. With a combination of comedy,revenge and hardcore hand to hand and weapon combat, this film is in a class of it's own. You get just what you expect from the legendary Samo Hung and Leung Kar Yan, unbeatable fight choreagraphy and fine perfomances. Unlike many kung fu movies this film has an addictive story line with many twists to a very good plot. This is certainly one of the best martial arts movies ever made, and is for the serious kung fu movie fan!From start to finish this film delivers where it counts. With a combination of comedy,revenge and hardcore hand to hand and weapon combat, this film is in a class of it's own. You get just what you expect from the legendary Samo Hung and Leung Kar Yan, unbeatable fight choreagraphy and fine perfomances. Unlike many kung fu movies this film has an addictive story line with many twists to a very good plot.
