    the good life complete set

    l bought the good life complete set, as l enjoyed the series on tv, now l can watch when l want.l have actually meet Richard Briars, and he is an exteemely pleasant persoin to talk to. l think this was an loveable comedy to watch, and an extremely one to get hold of.

    The Good Life

    Classic comedy of a sort rarely made nowadays and so tightly scripted. My kids (8 and 10) love all this 70's and 80's comedy - Dad's Army, Open All Hours, Rising Damp etc. Aside from the comedy, this is an excellent 1970's period-piece: appalling clothes, appalling decor, appalling bosses and (shock horror) smoking. Good comedy hasn't died out (The Office, Royle Family prove the point) but I do wish there was more of it.

    Great DVD Sitcom

    Probably one of the best British sitcoms ever made. One to see over and over again. It probably a bit dated now and not quite PC by today's stardard but still very funny and with some of the very best of British actors, great for a half hour viewing or an all night session in front of the box, wonderful.
