WOW, He did it again! THIS IS GREAT!
This was shipped very quickly, and that's far from the best part. This CD is GREAT! I met this guy a few times over the years of going to his shows, and he is truley a talented young man! FUNNY....Damn, he is sooooo funny! If you like Arlo Guthry, or Bob Dylan, Todd Snider is your guy! he is funny, insightful, warm, and very true to all of our lives. Everyone will get something from listening to this man's work. It's really fun, and sometimes even a little bit sad, but ALWAYS real!! This talented young man has been around for years- and some of us are still just discovering his genius. This CD is fair representation of his talent- which is considerable- [ Think modern day Bob Dylan or John Prine ] but everyone should have also have a live version of Todd Snider's music [ and stories ] to accompany this polished version. Still, this CD is a stand out listen for pretty much anyone who likes ANY type of non-head banging music. [ Not that there's anything wrong with that !]This talented young man has been around for years- and some of us are still just discovering his genius. Favorite Singer/Songwriter-- Ever!
Todd Snider is a mix of John Prine and Bob Dylan...really. A friend introduced me to his music recently, and I've been buying all the CDs I can find. He is in the folk/americana genre, and while I have enjoyed so much of all of that music, he is simply the best. He is smart, funny and prolific. If you like John Prine, Nancy Griffith, Bob Dylan, Robert Earl Keen, John Haitt, etc., etc, check this guy out! If you're not familiar with any of those artists...check this guy out! This is the real Todd Snider. Nothing devilish about this offering. It's real and it's fun! Todd Snider has some nice fun songs and this CD bears them out.

Great CD, if you don't like the standard cookie cutter music...you will enjoy it. Funny, disturbing and realistic, all rolled into one.
