Not as chunky as expected and soles do not look like they would grip surfaces as quite shiny and feel like plastic. Would be afraid to wear on slopes and wet surfaces. Maybe with wear grip would improve.
On a positive note the shoe is very light and well made. Just a little disappointed will wear on flat surfaces and avoid wet.
