Good shows, extra features, all good
The first two season DVD packs offered bonus features. The 1967 Dragnet was only a half season, but came with the excellent pilot movie. This 1968 offering also head extra stuff and a clear transfer.

DVD Set Of Season Two Of This Classic Police Show
I'm glad that Shout Factory obtained the rights to this program. They did a wonderful job with this set. Many of the episodes have a more profound effect than when they first aired. Notable actors who appeared in episodes include Kent McCord, Barry Williams, Susan Seaforth, Jan Michael Vincent and John Rubinstein and Ann Morgan Guilbert. The booklet that accompanies the set has a biography on Dragnet's creator/producer/director Jack Webb. The first season was released almost 5 years ago. This second season set was well worth the wait.I'm glad that Shout Factory obtained the rights to this program. They did a wonderful job with this set. I'd recommend revisiting this series simply for the enlightenment you'll gain at seeing how much you've changed, and how little the so-called advanced world "hasn't"! It's a delightful return to a simpler way of life - motives that are clear cut - with good and evil well defined - before the complications given us with psychological and politically correct jargon getting in the way.
