Goodmans GSR85DAB FM/DAB Radio
OK sound but not great for music , good reception on DAB and FM tuners , 3.5mm aux is handy , slim profile is ideal for a narrow shelf , I mainly purchased this radio because it has a charging circuit to charge the 6x C size Nimh batteries internally which works well. I have a Dab Devo wind up radio which sounds better even with only one speaker but is too deep for the shelf in my bathroom.

It is a very good little radio, which can produce a lot of noise! My partner uses it when she is in the kitchen, having a rest or washing up or tidying, I don't know, whatever it is women do in their kitchens! Hahaha, The only problem I have with it is that unless it is at eye level you cannot see the screen, and as I'm very tall, I have to continuously bend down to change station! occasionally the sound can "tin" a little bit, but that was more than expected for a radio this cheap, and it only does it when it doesn't like a big bass moment in a song. Otherwise it is a very very good radio, which I would definitely recommend.It is a very good little radio, which can produce a lot of noise! This is a value for money item that adequately fits the purpose for which it was purchased. Specifically it was bought for a dirty workplace where normal radio is not so good. I have covered it so that it doesn't get too clogged up with builders dust etc. but the price was such that if it does get dirty I didn't spend a fortune on it, that said it is a very good little radio and the sound quality is excellent. It seems fairly robust and simple to operate, it's battery/mains and will accept rechargeble batteries as well which you can recharge in situ. So 10 out of 10 for value for money and 9 out of 10 for everything else.
