Remember that song "Brimful of Asha"? Yeah... it's still good. (Look it up on YouTube now to find an explanation of the lyrics.) This album is full of quirky weirdness just like that -- a few great mellow rock gems and hip hop interludes, interspersed with funky Indian grooves, spaced-out chatter, and plenty of noises that will get inside those nooks in your brain and just squiggle around. I use it as writing music. You can do as you please.. and you'll be pleased. Key tracks - "Sleep on the Left Side," "Brimful of Asha," "We're in Yr Corner," "It's Indian Tobacco My Friend."
I had this CD in high school. Had it stolen years ago. Was sooo happy to find it again. I love this music. Got a good beat and silly lyrics. Two thumbs up in my book!
...and were into alternative music that you need to have this cd. If you like the song "Brimful of Asha" then just get the disc, because the whole thing is just as fun. It has good production and hot beats thanks to a pre-Handsome Boy Modeling School Dan the Automator. I got this for under 5 bucks, a steal indeed. If you are contemplating the purchase of this cd, let yourself go and buy it.
