    A time capsule of a bygone New York City and Queer Community.

    This is a great movie! A time capsule, really. The acting and the New York City sets are perfection. It would actually make a great Broadway Musical. I guess the only real problem is that there are no people of color in this movie. Oh well. Again, this is a time capsule of the way things were (meaning unfortunately producers did not consider giving the main characters black or brown friends. Perhaps proving that even independent movie makers were kind of limited in their scope). Even when the two main characters meet on the subway? Almost never happens anymore. Today it is Grindr, or whatever. The DVD mailed to me is in perfect condition. Thank you. I was hunting for this movie on DVD to own but could not find it. Thank you ebay!

    DVD Movie "TRICK"

    DVD MOVIE "TRICK" is a funny on-going situation where 2 guys try to get together, and have everything go wrong in getting there. The music is great, as well as the actors. It is not an offensive movie, and for once, the ending is not dismal as in most gay movies. Highly recommend this movie if you want a few laughs and just a good time watching.

    A Positive and Funny Gay Romantic Comedy

    One of my favorite things about this film is that there is no focus on AIDS or has a super sad ending. But instead it centers on these two guys trying to have some personal time together. But what it embarks is a better understanding of each other with each distraction. What was suppose to be a one-night stand instead turns into almost a friendship. There isn't sex or nudity. But there is plenty of go-go dancing in a thong and talk of sex. Its funny and features memorable characters. There was suppose to be a sequel that got paused due to COVID but I hope it completes the story.
