Seller notes: “One of the plates has broken and been repaired in the past. There is staining along the fracture ... “One of the plates has broken and been repaired in the past. There is staining along the fracture line and a diffuse staining around this line; see images 22, 23, and 24. One of the cups has a lot of brown staining under the glaze inside the cup at the bottom; see images 12, 13, and 14 to see this from different angles. Several of the other cups have small pinhole sized defects in the glaze and in some cases there has been staining to the underlying ceramic. This issue is best appreciated by watching the short video on this listing (or preferably the longer YouTube video). One of the cups has a small hairline crack to the glaze on the inside of the cup near the rim at the top; see image 11. All of the cups and plates have a varying degree of wear/loss to the gilt paint, particularly on the rims; for example, see images 9, 10, and 20. The plate without the central flower has, on close inspection, crazing of the glaze; see image 21.”
