Bu what can pose a problem is that instructions explaining how to install it are wholly lacking. What you actually have to do is this. When inserted in the USB socket of a PC, the adapter appears at first as a new CD-ROM drive. The software/drivers for wifi operation are contained in that 'drive' and must be run for 'manual install' procedure before the device appears for a second time in the list of installed devices, now as a wifi adapter.
