    Superb collection of Bolan songs, an interesting mix!

    Interesting collection, with a few lesser known tunes included. For My money, the inclusion of "Children of the Revolution" alone makes this worthwhile: the song was, and is, a classic example of "crossover" T-Rex as they morphed from Tyrannosaurus Rex. By this is mean it is a fusion of the electric rock sound of the second half of Bolan's career, and the Hippie sensibilities of the first few albums. Also included are the monster hits, "Get it on", one for parties!, and 20th century Boy, which has some amazing instrumentation. Marc Bolan wrote irresistible tunes, and this compilation comes with 22 of them, which justifies the entrance fee. Good starter collection, and also great for replacing tracks most played on vinyl. :-)

    Sells itself. Starts with big, glorious hits at the start, then a mellower centrepiece building up to Marc's BIG ones which still rule the airwaves (on decent radio stations....) to this day, 50 years on! ;D
