    Great Smart Thermostat

    This is a great smart themostat. I have had it for a few weeks and so far so good. Ran into an issue with the installation as I did not have a common wire connected. But after a call to tech support we were able to find one, get it wired correctly and up and running in no time ( I did not have to use the converter ). The app and GUI maybe a bit dated, but it works very well. It was easy to setup to the WiFi, does a good job and keeping the house cool ( which when you live in South Florida is a good thing ). I put the small mini temp sensor in the master bed room to help ensure a good night sleep. Alex on it is preatty neat as my thermosat is near the front door. Since my house is semi smart ( not everything is connected but getting close ), I can tell Alex to gaurd the house, turn off ...

    Non Alexa function work great!

    The Alexa feature only work every other request. Give an error message and you have to wait 10 seconds and make your request again. The non Alexa function work good just like the Ecobee 3 did

    From retro to modern

    I had a old Honeywell thermostat for awhile now, and decided to update it once the screen started acting up. I did some research and found ecobee to be the best for quality and price. So I bought and installed it (with some professional help of course) and so far I’m pretty impressed. Only complaint is the installation, very confusing, even for this “DIY”

    One of the best thermostats out there for the price!

    This is a great thermostat complete with Alexia. It's the Ecobee5. It has all kinds of features I love for example I can run my fan w/o ac or heat for as many minutes per hour as I want; has a sensor in another room so I can get different temps where I'll be as in the bedroom at night when I want it cooler. It doesn't have 5 different settings per day like some do but that's ok you can do the same with sensors in different rooms. Cons: Small screen and hard to see and enter commands, should be a lot bigger, What saves it is the app on the phone that is the screen size on your phone which is great. Doesn't have color screens which I would like but black and white will do I guess. Tech support is very good too. I've installed three of these and always have to call tech support due ...
