    The Hotel Chocolat Velvetier does exactly what it says - turns hot chocolate into velvet chocolate

    The Velvetiser is quiet, quick and easy to use. The hot chocolate tastes delicious, better than anything I’ve ever had before. It’s thick, really velvety to look at, rich in flavour, smells delicious and tastes amazing - it hits all the senses. It is also a visually attractive well made product. The ceramic mugs are attractive and just right, lovely to hold with hot chocolate on a cold day. This Velvetiser is exactly what I would expect from a company like Hotel Chocolat, stylish and classy. I would highly recommend The Velvetiser to anyone, I’ve wanted one for a long time and am delighted I’ve bought one at last!

    Expensive for what it is?

    Well it certainly produces velvet style hot chocolate but expected it to be more frothy, certainly couldn’t use for cappuccinos which on reviews I read said it could. Only makes one as well although doesn’t take long to brew another. Not sure I’d recommend to be honest for the price

    Gorgeous Hot Chocolate

    The Velvetiser is very easy to use and makes perfect hot chocolate in about 2 mins. I purchased it for my other half (who just loves anything chocolate) and he is impressed! Yes, I would recommend this product although slightly on the pricey side in my opinion. The only negative is not exactly for this product but for the Hotel Chocolat sachets that go in it - the cost of these is somewhat prohibitive so, come on HC, makes these more affordable please!

    Like new

    looks like new to me, possibly one light scratch on the side, i recommend these machines if you, like our family love proper hot chocolate, and not the sweet powder type, we just buy dark 85% cocoa solids chocolate from Aldi and chop it up, keep it in a tin, and the hot drink s ready in 2.5 minutes, we do recommend warming up the cups with Hot water first so it does not go cold too quickly,

    Works great

    I’m not really a hot choc person, I aim to give this to my daughter at Xmas. But I live the hot chocolate I make with oat milk, really creamy, just the right temp for me, a little hot for grandchildren though. To clean you can just add water and a drop of washing up liquid and press the button again.
