If you only read one civil war source, this is it!
I was fascinated with Shelby Foote and his perspective on the civil war when I was glued to the Ken Burns series on tv many years ago. From time to time I purchased books on Amazon for my Kindle and saw the three volume series for sale on eBay at a really good price. Each volume is around 800 pages and I have almost finished volume 1. I can’t stop reading!
