Hard to beat the image and warranty at this price
I also have the 8x42 bx4 pro guide and needed a bit more magnification for longer distance glassing. As I had been happy with the 8x42's I initially went for 12x50's, total disaster, so swapped em for these 10x50's and am pretty happy overall. I am 65 and so nothing is exactly "crisp" anymore but I had a buddy bring his Swaro 10x42 EL binos over for a comparison.
I use my glasses for hunting and if the EL's were sharper, it was dang hard to tell. To my eyes the Leupolds deliver on image quality and color with only the slightest of distortion at the very outer edge of the lens.
I would buy another set for sure.
If you have a ton of money to burn, there are plenty of options, but for $600 bucks, going to be pretty hard to beat the image and the warranty.....
I only gave a 4 because nothing is perfect....
