    Dewalt 5ah lithium battery 2 x pack

    These batteries are far superior to 3ah and twice as good as 4ah. They have 30% more power than 4ah and can plough for days in an impact driver. Depending on what your screw size is . That take 60 mins to charge on a dewalt 113 charger up wards and 120mins in the old 105 charger, that's the charger they first released with the xp range . To be honest the 5ah should be standard as anything below is ok for site but you do hit the charger more times with 3 and 4 ah. They are approx the same weight as 3ah and at this price are more affordable to buy as a twin pack . If since sold all my 3 and 4 ah batteries cos it's like going from a lada to a Porsche with the performance . I hammer my batteries on site and these are actually better than makita 5ah for performance . Tried and tested

    Awful

    I would not buy these again. Very light in weight, and feel very cheap. I know they are not a true Dewalt battery , but I still expect value for money. One of them is faulty, who knows how long the other one will last. Cannot be bothered sending them back , because I would still get the same cheap rubbish again. You live and learn.

    Just what your tool set needs

    These batteries are a no brainer if your upgrading your kit. They just keep on going. I use them mainly with my cordless drill and impact driver. But they would easily cope with a cordless sds, angle grinder or circular saw. No extra weight in comparison to the 4ah, and a charge time of about 30-40 mins isn't too bad considering their capacity. Tip: Buy these in a two/three pack and buy your tools separately as "body only" and you'll seriously save yourself some money.

    DCB 184

    These batteries can take some abuse and keep on going. Have some from 2013 and still usable. The fuel gauge led's will stop working after some time but battery still functional.
