    Works but doesn't last

    Read instructions and charged battery before first use, used one of the batteries to take out 20 - 30 screws, next day tried to drill some holes in wood and battery died on second hole. Have charged second battery and completed the other 3 holes I needed to drill will have to see how long the battery will last. First battery put on charge and fully charged in less than 20 mins, strange as original makita battery that came with drill took about an hour to charge and lasted a lot longer.

    There are some very good replacement bra...

    There are some very good replacement brands around, yet this is not one of them. My 1.5amp original Makita battery has more power. Please do not waste your money on these.
