    Human side of war

    This is my favorite WWII movie and I have been looking for a dvd for a long time. It depicts the humanity of both sides of the war while showing the ugly side. Too many movies focus on the ugly side and neglect the human aspects of the people involved on both sides of the conflict. I wish human beings had progressed along with technology but that doesn't seem to be the case. We are still waging war and destruction.

    WWII sea drama that takes place over the period of a day.

    A really great navy sea battle set during WWII. Two really good actors pitted against each other in really tense situations in the south Atlantic--A German U-boat and an American destroyer escort or frigate. The two while on opposite sides respect the fact that the other is very good at his job, in fact they are equals.

    This is a big, really good looking knife...

    This is a big, really good looking knife. It’s sturdy and feels good in my hand. The blade could be sharper. The sheath fits the blade well and the retaining strap stays out of the way when you remove or insert the knife. On a lot of sheaths that retaining strap tends to fold down into the path of the sharpened side of the blade where it can easily be cut when the knife is drawn or inserted. That shouldn’t be a problem with this sheath.

    A nice war movie.

    My friend told me about this movie. It is more of a man's movie. However, I did enjoy watching how the both side try to outwit their enemy. The conclusion is that the War itself is rediculous!
