    This is a top grade smoke and carbon monoxide detector which is used by top companies in the industry, so buy with confidence, if replacing more than one, do stick to the same brand so that they all link up and go off at the same time should a detection occur. easy to fit.

    Only recently opened this package, dates all wrong one alarm was in the old style and useless. Only one of the alarms was a heat & carbon alarm. Also once opened alarms were all in horrendous state with nicotine stains and part missing. Be wary and ask many questions before purchase.

    Life saver

    The combined unit is from a well known manufacturer. I bought this brand as all my other detectors are from the same. They are all getting to their expiry dates and have worked when required ( usually when I burnt the toast or when the wife puts out a scened candle.)I always buy from a well known brand. why chance your life on some brand you’ve never heard off.

    The item was easy to install as it was a replacement for one of three wired alarms we already had that were 10 years old. This new one has nearly 11 years on it before needing to be replaced, so we're very happy.

    Excellent Heat and CO Sensor

    This is very well made. I replaced an 8 year old AICO battery backup Heat Sensor in order to have the CO Sensor as well. The Ei3028 simply slid onto the existing mounting plate. It has a rechargeable backup cell so needs no battery and is compatible with the 2 interlinked Smoke Sensors with battery backup (also 8 years old) in my house. To check compatibility, I emailed AICO; their intelligent reply came within 2 hours. If only every company were so efficient....... Very impressive. November 2020
