Synopsis
What is Walter Moles to do? A budding ecologist,  he'd rather pick up bugs with his pooter than  field baseballs. But the honor of the fourth grade is  at stake because the fifth grade had challenged it  to a baseball game. In the  excitement, Goony, the hotheaded captain of the  fourth-grade team, chooses Walter as his star shortstop.  And Goony won't give Walter a chance to confess  that he's a lousy ball player or to tell him that  there hasn't been a left-handed shortstop since 1892.  Walter has got to become a great shortstop in a  hurry or else find a way to weasel out of the game.  Can his good pal Casey Valentine scheme up a  surefire strategy that will keep Walter from striking  out?

    Unfortunately I received a damaged book, the item and the package both were damaged and it was clearly evident its appearance that it happened during transit. The seller was very understanding and gave me a full refund for the damaged book, though it was no fault of their own. Other than the damage, the book was as described, the quality and condition aside from the damaged spot was like new. The cost of the book was reasonable. I would definitely purchase from the seller again.

    Although this book was not as described, with no picture of it in the listing, the seller communicated well and quickly gave me a full refund while letting me keep it. The minimal packaging left the book a bit vulnerable (typical for ThriftBooks), but it did arrive safely and timely. As usual, it’s hit or miss with this seller, but often times you can get great values, and their customer service is always very good. Many other sellers with millions of transactions don’t even communicate.

    Arrived on time. Packaging was lacking, product damaged in two places during shipping due to inadequate padding within the packaging. I can live with it seeing as I don't want to hunt down and pay for another copy... Item was as described minus the damage to the spine of the book in one place from the thin plastic wrapping not providing any rigidity or padding. This is the first time I have encountered this problem with this Fantastic seller. Excellent value. Thank you
