    Musical Comedy About Early AIDS Days

    The most important feature of this film is the debunking of the myth that the ground zero patient for AIDS in the US was a French Canadian flight attendant (named Dugas). They do the debunking through a musical comedy genre of film. As is typical for gay themed films, the budget was low. Yet they did manage to write original songs for the film and find a decent array of acting and singing talent. The sets were a little on the weak side as were the special effects of the film. However, there is one special effect, while very cheesy, was pretty clever and amusing. The film was completed in 1993 and did serve to further educate its audience about the early days of the AIDS pandemic. Not a great movie, but worth seeing.
