    Two thumbs up!

    Just what I needed to fill the bill after Youtube took them away. So much clearer on blu-ray. And I get to watch some of the films I wasn't able to find before. My favorite movies right there in the living room. A wonderful box set that I highly recommend to any Zatoichi fan.

    Worth it.

    This is one of the first times I wanted to buy since I start collecting Criterion movies and I'm glad I got this in my collection. I ended up opening at partially just enough so I can slip the DVD case out and then put it back in. My favorite was Zatoichi meets yojimbo.

    A must for Zatoichi Fans!

    Beautifully packaged DVD collection. Lots of info about each episode and the films have been remastered so they look and sound great. If you like Zatoichi then this is a must buy. It allows you to see the character development from start to finish. Wish I had bought it sooner!
