    Straightforward build

    My first Lego set in fifty years, thoroughly enjoying building it, couple of small gripes don’t understand why the arched window and doors aren’t glazed as it would improve the finish, also a bit more detail inside in the upstairs flat wouldn’t go amiss, overall have thoroughly enjoyed it though.

    Very frustrating build as several pieces were missing, larger pieces that I didn’t have or couldn’t substitute with other pieces from my spares pot. Several brown and blue bricks were broken, all pieces for those were found in the bags. Most annoying were that half of the clip joint that made up the ‘Pets’ sign were snapped and this part of the build is held together with just friction and hope.

    Lego lack of inspiration

    Quite a good set, though the flat on the first floor of the adjoining town house is overly simple, by Lego making it appear that a decorator is in residence to prevent them furnishing and therefore using less bricks. Could have done a lot better. Not the best set they have produced in this series.
