    It works, the game runs well with no issues or Lag and that’s all I need it to do. It was still sealed mint in its original packaging despite being a 2 and a half year old game. The game itself is pretty good, at least from what I played so far, it controls great and has many nods to Metroid Fusion, especially in the opening, but that does make sense seeing as this is a direct sequel. Nintendo captured the atmosphere here perfectly. I always loved the more horror aspect of the 2d Metroid series.

    Dread is DREADFUL

    First, let me be clear: I've been a Metroid fan since the original NES (still own it) and am very good at difficult games. Among others, I've finished Uncharted 1, 2, and 3 on Brutal difficulty. I've also completed Evil Within on Akumu and Last of Us on Grounded. Granted, these are not platformers like Metroid but they all require considerable skill to complete. I've played Dread for about 30 - 45 minutes and am now stuck, moving in a large "circle" within the map counter-clockwise. There are areas which appear to be accessible but just out of reach. The gameplay seems extremely linear, which ruins the franchise. Perhaps Nintendo could take inspiration from Team Cherry: Hollow Knight blows Metroid Dread away - literally - at a fraction of the cost... not to mention by an indie ...

    Great 2D action platformer

    I love 2D action platformers. Castlevania, Contra, Vampire Hunter X, but I was not a big fan of Metroid games. I wanted to give this franchise another chance and I was pleasantly surprised by this game. I thought Samus old suit resembled too much like Iron Man's. Loved Samus' new look, great 2d action platformer!

    Great game.

    The Metroid games are awesome. The visuals in this game were breathtaking. I recently finished Samus Returns and this game has the same gameplay. Recommended for any fan of the Metroid series.
