    Overcame my bias against zombie stories

    Great story! I haven't watched the TV series as I'm generally not a fan of zombies. Stories tend to be very predicable and slow moving. Can't speak for the TV show, but the slow, step-by-step pace works really well in comic format. You get the situation, characters and their reactions to their circumstances in an understandable, methodical, straightforward manner. With a series that goes 4 volumes, there's plenty of time to experience the action in the present plus flash backs of meaningful events in the past. Looking forward to the rest of this volume and plan to buy volume 2.

    Nice quality compilation of the graphic novels.

    Being a Walking Dead TV fan, I was curious as to how the actual graphic novel compared in story line. These books are quite impressive especially in the artwork. The story line in the book is quite exciting and makes you forget you are reading rather than watching tv.

    THE WALKING DEAD, A GREAT BOOK AND ZOMBIE-SMACKING WEAPON

    It's convenient and far easier to tote this book around than 48 issues of the comic book, yet it's still heavy enough to crush a zombie's head. It showed up in great condition and I got it for such a reasonable amount of money.
