Laminate Panel Flooring
I have several wood laminate panel floors and it can be a nightmare to repair. I have considered some options and then out of the blue this product came to my attention. No instructions but works great with a bit of intuition!
This is a great little kit. There seems to be nothing available in the shops that I could find so ebay came up with this. There were no instructions provided at all but if you are used to following your nose and having a go, the right result can be acheived with a little trial and error. Worktop repair kit

wax sticks are ok

Scratch repair does a good job.

Designed to fail
After 5 minutes use, the red LED on the heating tool failed, but the heater was still working. On investigation, it was found that the LED is wired straight across the 3V battery supply causing it to fail . A red LED typically requires 1.7>2.0 Volts, a supply voltage higher than that (3V) will damage the LED. It is normal to put a resistor in series with a LED to limit the current and protect the LED. The failed LED was replaced and a 51 ohm resistor wired in series produce a safe current draw of about 10mA. Apart from the LED failure, the kit represents good value for money and produced a good results in repairing a burnt worktop.. .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No instructions
Looks a very good kit but there are no instructions with it so don't know what to do with it. There is a battery powered tool which I assume is for melting the wax, and a good selection of different coloured waxes.
