I am sorry it was smaller than you thought. The way we try to illustrate the size is to photograph multiple times against a ruler. I just double-checked the listing and it shows 3 extra photos against a ruler, showing the size in mm as well as inches. It shows the length, the width as well as the thickness. It's the same for all 5000+ sterling silver charms we sell, they are all photographed against the ruler to show the size.
