Using on a Sony A7r3. Sharp thought the entire range, at 600 some slight flaring, focus works well with the exception being in close. It weights a ton making hand held shots require at least 120 speed to limit blurring even with camera stabilization on. Perfect no but It is the best long lens I have used other than fixed focal length lenses at 3 times the cost. If you need one lens for sports and wildlife this is it.

Except 600mm, the wide open, image quality is good in sharpness. And you can step down 1~2 stops to get the best image quality out of this lens. At 600mm, wide open, image quality is acceptable but I do recommend to step down to at least f8. You will also have to be sure the light is good as this is not a fast lens. A tripod or monopod is necessary for using this lens. Good price for such a lens.

Great for bird pictures. A bit heavy 2kg for use without tripod but the focusing is quick and good so for few pictures it is okay. I use it for Sony a57 and it works well.

Very pleased with the image quality and sharpness, great lens for adding extra reach without breaking the bank or your arms. Pairs well with mySony a77ii.
